Regular donations are a fantastic way to support a charity, especially a small organisation like ours which doesn’t have a big budget, but the services are vital to the local community. For national funders, statistically Hart looks amazing on paper, but young people in Fleet and the surrounding areas still have problems and need our support. There are expenses that are essential but cannot be achieved through national funding streams (we have tried so many times), so we are looking closer to home.

 

Fleet Phoenix relies heavily on the support from donors such as yourself and our local community. Your support helps to ensure that we can continue to deliver the level of service and support that are clients are not only used to but are reliant upon.

 

Your regular donation can be whatever amount you choose, whether this is £2 or £20, the impact you can have will be huge. Signing up to regular donations means that we receive this money each month and this will go a long way to helping in the continuation of the services we provide and help make it easier for us to work on our cause.

We offer a wide range of essential services and projects for local young people and offer support to their families too. Our motto is ‘Empowering Young People to Thrive’ and this is incredibly important to us – we are helping young people to help themselves.

 

We understand that living is expensive and there are so many incredible and deserving charities in the UK and all over the world who need support. We just hope that you will consider supporting a local charity, one that supports the young people and their families in our wonderful community.

 

What your money could help with?

 

£2 a month could help buy resources for our youth projects, where young people can come to a safe, supportive place to play, learn, and have fun.

 

£5 a month could help towards distributing food and household items to families in financial difficulties which enables them to help fill the gap with the ever-increasing cost of living.

 

£10 a month could help towards giving young people the opportunity to learn an instrument and receive music tuition. This helps to build confidence and self-esteem plus safe space for their creative expression.

 

£20 a month could help support mentoring work with young people who suffer with complex life issues including mental health, self-harm, debt, drug and alcohol issues, housing/homelessness, and education amongst many.

 

£25 a month could help towards young children who have been witness to domestic abuse receiving support and a safe space to be themselves to develop resilience, self-confidence, build positive relationships and understanding their environment.

 

100% of all donations goes directly to Fleet Phoenix and the services we offer.
